Bride on a pandemic rollercoaster

Marlborough photographer David James, who is one of Newton and Regan’s wedding vendors, said that vaccination would now be part of the discussions to have with couples.

James received six inquiries in the last three weeks from couples who had to change photographers because their photographers were not vaccinated.

‘‘People are concerned because they have guests in their 80s and 90s and young children, and they want to have fully vaccinated vendors.’’

James said he was fully supportive of a vaccination mandate at weddings for both vendors and clients.

‘‘The key thing is the concern that I have.

‘‘Within the space of two weeks, I can potentially be in contact with over a thousand people.

‘‘It’s my work space and I want to feel safe, I don’t want to get sick and to pass that on to anyone else,’’ he said.
