Nix women sign Kiwi

Wellington Phoenix have completed their New Zealand player quota for the A-League Women season with the signing of promising Australianbased midfielder Te Reremoana Walker. The addition of Walker, a New Zealand under-17 international who has been a member of the Newcastle Jets Academy for the past year, was confirmed alongside the signings of Australian pair Cushla Rue and Isabel Gomez, bringing the overall player total to 13. Walker, 17, is the Phoenix’s 11th and final New Zealand signing while defender Rue and midfielder Gomez, both 18, fill the first two of their seven permitted Australian slots.
