A fire at a mansion reportedly owned by Beyonce is being investigated for possible arson. The blaze erupted on Wednesday evening, local time, at the mansion in the Garden District of New Orleans. According to local media reports the city’s fire department was alerted by a smoke alarm. There were also reports of a ‘‘suspicious person’’ lurking around the corner. In all, 22 firefighters were called to extinguish the blaze, which caused damage to the building but there were no injuries.
