Applications open for prize and scholarship

The Mackenzie District Council has confirmed applications are now open for a prize and a scholarship for secondary school students living in its region. The Bruce Scott Memorial Prize is annual award to a senior secondary school student who best exhibits sustained effort and application in all that they do and who always demonstrates good citizenship, practical skills and leadership potential. The Mackenzie County Educational Scholarship is an annual award for secondary school students intending to go onto their first year of tertiary education. Applications for both categories close at 5pm on October 27.
