Grizzlies’ streak continues

Steven Adams’Memphis Grizzlies havewon their 11th straight game in the NBA. The Grizzlies beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 116-108 in Memphis on yesterday (NZT) to improve to 30-14, just one win back from the Phoenix Suns, who have the best record in the Western Conference and NBA. NewZealander Adams missed his fourth straight game due to a non-Covid 19 illness. His replacement at centre Jaren Jackson Jr continued his impressive run with 20 points, second only to Desmond Bane 21. The Grizzliesmade their move in the third quarter after trailing 53-60 at halftime winning the third period 37-24. Ja Morant had 16 points, nine assists and eight rebounds, and John Konchar added 15 points and a career-best 17 rebounds.
