Hostility at gang funeral

Police have appealed for dashcam or CCTV footage of a ‘‘gang-related tangi’’ on Auckland’s North Shore yesterday. The ‘‘large funeral procession’’ from Beach Haven to the Schnapper Rock Cemetery in Albany began about 12.15pm, police said. Officers saw evidence of reckless driving that endangered other road users, and hostile behaviour towards police staff monitoring the procession. Two motorbikes were impounded.
