New $10,000 writing prize

Publisher Allen & Unwin New Zealand has announced a new $10,000 prize for fiction writing. The competition is open to debut writers and published authors, but entrants must be citizens and residents of New Zealand. The manuscripts submitted must be an unpublished work in the commercial fiction genre, and between 70,000 and 100,000 words long. Entries open on December 1 and close March 25, 2022.
