Order in response to threat

Wellington police were temporarily armed in response to a threatening video on social media on Thursday. A man is assisting police with inquiries after a Snapchat video emerged showing a man behaving threateningly towards police. Police carried out a search warrant on Thursday evening and located the man as well as a BB gun. Police confirmed a temporary carriage order was in place and was called off on Thursday evening.
