We are seeking an innovative and entrepreneurial academic to be appointed to the position of Amo Ōrauariki - Dean, Wellington School of Business and Government. This newly created leadership role will provide strategic direction and academic oversight of the research, teaching, civic engagement and external engagement for the Wellington School of Business and Government (WSBG) which is among just 1 percent of business schools worldwide to hold the ‘Triple Crown’ of international accreditations (AACSB; EQUIS and AMBA).

Along with a doctoral or postgraduate qualification, you will have an outstanding record of scholarly achievement and a successful track record of effective engagement with business and government leaders. Reporting to the Pro ViceChancellor, and as a member of the Faculty Leadership Team, your ability to inspire, motivate and influence staff through a time of transformation while enhancing the collegial culture and building high performing teams, will ensure success in this role. You will be able to lead strategically and demonstrate a resilient and flexible approach in a fiscally constrained and highly competitive context where innovative thinking will be required to grow revenue, student numbers and programmes. You will demonstrate an ability to further academic excellence and recognition for WSBG in national and international rankings.
