Aucklander receives multiple boosters

An Auckland resident received more than one Covid-19 vaccine booster in one day, authorities have confirmed. The Ministry of Health said it was aware of an incident where a person managed to get multiple doses – three, Stuff understands – at different sites in Auckland on Wednesday. The ministry did not confirm which vaccine sites the person visited, and it was not clear how the person managed to receive more than one dose on the same day. A ministry spokesperson said anyone who had received more vaccine doses than recommended should seek clinical advice as soon as practicable.
