Key match postponed

This weekend’s crunch ANZ Premiership clash between the Northern Mystics and the Central Pulse has been postponed due to Covid-19 cases in the Mystics camp. The match had been set to go ahead on Wednesday, when coach Helene Wilson confirmed two of her players had tested positive. Yesterday it was shifted from tomorrow to next Friday at the Mystics’ request. Teams need four players out with Covid-19 to request a postponement. The defending champion Mystics are clinging on to top spot but have lost three games in a row since losing standout goal shoot Grace Nweke to an ankle injury. The Pulse sit three points behind them in second.
