MY FAVOURITE SPIRIT IS…

Hastings Distillers East Block Gin. A mate bought me a bottle for my birthday and it’s lovely. Nice with a dash of blueberry shrub and prosecco if you’re fancy.

MY COFFEE ORDER IS…

oat milk at white. Cow’s milk makes me s... uncontrollably and cow farts make the earth mad, but damn isn’t co ee great.

THE DRINK THAT MAKES ME FEEL NOSTALGIC IS…

Main ivide riesling. I used to drink it a lot when I lived in tautahi. It reminds me of art openings, BYOs and those summer vineyard gigs.

THE ONE DRINK I DETEST IS...

English breakfast tea. I’m far too re ned for it and my delicate little taste buds object to drinking liquid rubber.

THE BEER I ALWAYS HAVE IN THE FRIDGE IS…

S...beer. I have expensive taste in other areas of my life so I can a ord to let beer grimace in my fridge.

MY SPECIAL OCCASION WINE IS…

2019 William ownie ‘Cathedral’ pinot noir. A bright and beautiful drop; used to be on the list at Auckland restaurant Clay now closed, but yay for the new one in its old premises, Alta .

You can buy a bottle from Everyday Wine. Impress someone with it.
