Farmgate Vaccination tour returns

Southern mayors Tracy Hicks and Gary Tong will be back on the road next week, encouraging people to get their Covid-19 vaccination. The first Farmgate Vaccination tour was held three weeks ago, and the tour will travel around Southland again next week so that those who were vaccinated on the tour can either get their second vaccination. People who wanted to get their first vaccination were also welcome. Ministry of Health data shows that as of Thursday, 93 per cent of people who are eligible to be vaccinated in the Southern District Health Board area have received their first Covid-19 vaccination, and 85 per cent have received their second one.
