■ A 25-year-old man was forbidden from driving after he was caught speeding on State Highway 1, near Studholme, at 7.11pm on Monday.

■ A 30-year-old man stopped by police on Waihao Back Rd, Waimate, at 8pm on Monday was issued with a suspension notice for excess demerit points.

■ A Timaru man was stopped by police on Hassall St on Monday for driving while disqualified. His vehicle was impounded.

■ A 34-year-old Timaru man was arrested on Hilton Highway at 3.10pm on Tuesday on charges of supplying and offering to supply methamphetamine. Senior Sergeant Dylan Murray said the man also faces charges of fabricating evidence and perjury.

■ A man was arrested at Pak ‘n Save Timaru at 8pm on Tuesday for theft.

■ A 37-year-old Dunedin man was arrested in Timaru for breach of bail and historic thefts at 4am yesterday.
